Yes you need to be able to swim, we do have noodles to assist young children and not strong swimmers. Can children come on the tour Children need to be 5 years and older to land at Barunguba Montague Island. No age limit for snorkelling with the seals How long do I get to snorkel for? Depending on the trip you booking from 40 mins for the Island combo and 1.5 hours to 2 hours for a straight snorkel. --- Things to know -------------- ### Guests requirements - Guests ages 5 and up can attend certain sessions - Guests ages 99 and less can attend certain sessions - All participants entering the water must be able to swim. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while snorkelling. - All participants landing on the Island for the tour must be 5 years and older, have a moderate fitness level and able to climb a ladder at the Island jetty unassisted. - If we are required to cancel your trip due to unsafe sea conditions or insufficient numbers. A full refund will be provided or you may choose to transfer your booking to another date or time. - To help protect the birds on Barunguba Montague Island from the risk of bird flu, **all guest must wear fully enclosed shoes when visiting the island.** Before boarding, footwear will need to be cleaned and disinfected at our foot wash station.
